- 1 Cup Green Peas
- 1 Onion
- 1 Tomato (Puree)
- 1 Teaspoon Fennel Seeds
- 1 Bay Leaf
- 2 Green Cardamom
- 3 Cloves
- 1 Cinnamon Stick
- 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Chilli powder
- 1/2 Tablespoon Coriander Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Gram masala Powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 Tablespoon Coconut oil
- 3 Tablespoon Coriander leaves
For Green Paste
- 8 Garlic Pods
- 1 Inch Ginger
- 4 Green Chilli
Grind garlic, ginger and green chilli into a fine paste with little water and keep aside.

Step By Step Picture Instructions :
- Heat Coconut oil in a pan
- Temper fennel seeds, bay leaf, cloves, green cardamom and cinnamon stick for few seconds
- Add the green paste and roast on medium flame until raw smell vanishes
- Add finely chopped onion and saute till golden brown
- Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala powder
- Mix well and roast the spice mixture on medium flame
- Add salt required for the gravy and simmer the flame
- Add tomato puree
- Once the oil starts to separate add water required for the gravy and bring it to boil
- Add half of the chopped coriander leaves and boil for 3 minutes in low flame
- Add the green peas and slow cook for 3-4 minutes
- Garnish with remaining coriander leaves
- Serve hot
