THREE LAYERED COLORFUL MILK PUDDING

This milk pudding recipe is one of the most genuine recipes for a healthy dessert. This time I made this an eggless recipe. The three layers are Milk base layer, rose middle layer and dark cocoa top layer.

Ingredients  :

Serves  1 Cup

  • Milk - 1 cup
  • Unflavoured gelatine - 1 and 1/2 Tsp
  • Dark cocoa powder - 1 Tsp
  • Rose syrup - 1 Tsp
  • Sugar - 2 Tsp

  • Boil milk and keep it aside to get back to room temperature
  • Add Sugar to the boiled milk
  • Divide the milk into three parts

Milk layer :

  • To the 1st part of the boiled milk add 1/2 tsp of gelatine dissolved in hot milk, and mixed well
  • Pour into a glass and refrigerator for 1 hour ( or as long the layer sets )

Rose layer :

  • To the 2nd part of milk, add rose syrup and gelatine mix (Similar to the previous step)
  • Slowly pour the rose syrup milk into the glass without disturbing the milk layer.

MASALA CHAI / MASALA TEA

Masala chai, literally "mixed-spice tea" is a flavoured tea beverage made by brewing black tea with a mixture of aromatic Indian spices and herbs. The simplest traditional method of preparing masala chai is through decoction, by actively simmering or boiling a mixture of milk and water with loose-leaf tea, sweeteners, and whole spices.
The solid tea and spice residues are strained off from masala chai before serving.

The method may vary according to taste or local custom; for example, some households may combine all of the ingredients together at the start, bring the mixture to a boil, then immediately strain and serve; others may leave the mixture simmering for a longer time, or begin by bringing the tea leaves to a boil and only add the spices toward the end (or vice versa).
