MILLET IDLI DOSA BATTER / சிறுதானிய இட்லி தோசை மாவு
Ingredients
* 3 cups millets
* 1 cup Idli rice
* 1 cup Urad dal whole, white
* 1 tsp fenugreek seeds
* Salt – As needed
தேவையான பொருட்கள்
* 3 கப் சிறுதானியம்
* 1 கப் இட்லி அரிசி
* 1 கப் உழுந்து
* 1 தேக்கரண்டி வெந்தயம்
* உப்பு - தேவைக்கேற்ப
Instructions
* Wash millets and idli rice. Soak both millets and idli rice together in a vessel for 4-5 hours
* Wash and soak urad dal separately for 2hrs
* In a bowl, soak fenugreek for 2 hrs
* Grind millet and idli rice, and fenugreek by draining water almost completely.
* Grind urad dal, adding water little by little. The consistency should be like a thick cream.
* Mix both the ground batter and keep overnight or 6-8 hours for fermentation.
* Spoon to idli molds to make idli.
* Or mix with little water and make dosa.
