OMAM PARATHA / AJWAIN PARATHA

Omam/Ajwain Partha is easy and healthy roti can be served with any dal side dish or a simple onion raita. 
Omam /Ajwain is useful in treating acidity and acid reflux problem. They are the best remedy to cure digestion related problems, essential to cure kidney stones. Ingredients : 


Serves: 5 Paratha 

  • 1 Cup Wheat Flour 
  • 2 Tablespoon Omam / Ajwain 
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Sugar
  • 3 Tablespoon Milk  
  • Salt to taste 
  • Water as required 
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Oil

Step By Step Picture Instructions : 


  1. In a bowl, add wheat flour
  2. To this add sugar and ajwain 
  3. Add salt required for the whole recipe 
  4. Mix them well together 
  5. Make well at the centre, add milk and start to mix the flour 
  6. Sprinkle water and knead into a soft dough 


  7. Apply the oil over the dough and cover the dough for 10-20 minutes 
  8. After 20 minutes, equally divided them into 5 balls 
  9. Roll the ball into a thin paratha 
  10. Fry the paratha on a hot tawa, cook well on both sides 


  11. Serve the paratha hot
