Paneer tikka is an Indian dish made from chunks of paneer marinated in spices and grilled in a tandoor. It is a vegetarian alternative to chicken tikka and other meat dishes. Paneer tikka fried rice is one pot meal with the flavours Paneer Tikka masala. It’s a simple and delicious recipe, best to be served with onion raita.
Ingredients :
For Tikka :
- 250 Grams Paneer Cubes
- 1 Tablespoon Green Chilli Chopped
- 2 Tablespoon Ginger Grated
- 2 Tablespoon Yogurt
- 1 Tablespoon Chilli Powder
- 1/2 Tablespoon Coriander Powder
- 1/4 Tablespoon Turmeric Powder
- 1/4 Tablespoon Cumin Powder
- 1/4 Tablespoon Garam Masala Powder
- Salt to taste
- 3 Tablespoon of Oil
For Fried Rice :
- 1 cup Cooked Rice
- 1 Tablespoon Garlic Chopped
- 2 Green chilli Chopped
- 1 Onion Chopped
- Salt to taste
- 2 Tablespoon Oil / Ghee

Step By Step Picture Instructions :
For Tikka :
- Cut Paneer into cubes
- In a bowl, mix coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, garam masala, grated ginger, finely chopped green chillies and salt
- Mix them all together, add yoghurt to the mixing bowl and beat well till smooth
- Add the paneer cubes to this mixture
- Cover and keep aside for about 30 minutes.
- Grill the marinated paneer on a tawa
- Cooked on a low-medium flame and keep it aside
For Fried Rice :
- Heat oil/ghee in a frying pan.
- Add chopped garlic and green chillies
- Add finely chopped onion and fried until brown
- Pour the leftover tikka marination and cook by stirring continuously
- Fry till it becomes thick and crispy
- Then add the cooked rice and mix gently
- Check for salt and add accordingly
- Add the paneer tikka cubes and gently toss to combine well
- Cook on a medium flame for 1-2 minutes tossing occasionally
- Serve hot
